A cheek body piercing, also known as a dimple piercing, is a type of facial piercing that is done on the cheek usually near the corner of the mouth. The piercing is done through the cheek and jewelry is inserted into the hole, which results in a visible dimple on the cheek when smiling.
Cheek piercings are typically done with either a captive bead ring or a barbell, and the jewelry can be decorated with different types of beads, gems, or charms.
